Guest Artists/Alumni Recital on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 3:00pm!

The Kellogg Community College Visual and Performing Arts Program is proud to present a performance by Jacqueline King, mezzo-soprano, in its Guest/Alumni Artist Recital beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in the Davidson Performing Arts Center Auditorium, located on the campus of KCC at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.

King, a 2007 KCC graduate who also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in vocal performance from the Michigan State University College of Music, will perform selections from composers as varied as Franz Schubert, George Frideric Handel, Stephen Sondheim and Willie Nelson.

King, a former student of Dr. Gerald Blanchard’s while at KCC, will be assisted by Jennifer Cook, soprano, who holds a master’s in music from MSU, and accompanied by Neill Campbell, pianist, who is pursuing his master’s in collaborative piano at MSU.
“We are so proud to have a singer of Ms. King’s caliber performing at our recital and we’re even more proud that she is a product of KCC,” said Blanchard, director of vocal music at KCC and emcee of the recital.

The Nov. 10 performance is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Blanchard at blanchardg@kellogg.edu.
